Forum Theatre for the School of Social Work
A recurring forum theatre workshop for social work students at Malmö universitet, commissioned by ABF Malmö and delivered annually since 2023. Students step inside scenes built from lived experience and current research on everyday racism and institutional encounters – most recently "The Welfare Encounter", built on Malmö Stad's study on anti-Black racism (antisvart rasism) – and rehearse interventions in front of the whole room. The same method Papilion brings to workplaces, kommuner and communities.
2023 & 2024: ABF Malmö, Spånehusvägen 47. 2025: ABF Malmö. 2026: Mon 28 Sep, 14:30–17:25, Ungdomens Hus, Norra Skolgatan 3, Malmö.

Forum Theatre, Prejudice and Agency
A lunchsamtal at Malmö Konstmuseum on forum theatre, prejudice and agency, hosted by Moments of Belonging (Helena Fernández-Cavada and Emir) in collaboration with Konstnärscentrum Syd. Around a table of 20+ participants – artists, museum strategists, social workers, retired politicians and activists – Remi Tawoshe explored forum theatre as a "flight simulator for conflict": we crash planes here so we don't crash them there. The conversation ranged across vertical prejudice, language as gatekeeper, safe space vs room for critique, and the audience's role as spect-actor. Introduction by Judith Schwarzbart, Malmö Konstmuseum.
Thursday 17 September 2026, 12:00–13:00. Lunchsamtal in Malmö Konstmuseum's temporary project space in Kungsparken.

"Do I Just Stay Out Of It?"
A forum theatre workshop and community dialogue on social beredskap (social preparedness), delivered in Lindängen in collaboration with Malmökretsen Svenska Röda Korset. Participants explored how neighbourhood relationships, trust and collective responsibility can be strengthened for everyday crises. Through forum theatre, lived experiences – from neighbour conflicts to social isolation – became playable scenes where participants rehearsed interventions and tested what actually works.
